We finally got our Christmas tree up and I thought it would be cute to get a picture of the boys with their new Christmas PJ's on infront of the Christmas tree. This is what I got....

I am Thankful for....

I just love all the cute art projects the boys come home with from Mothers Day Out - especially this time of year, the teachers come up with some really cute ideas. This one just tickled me - Lance came home with this and it is a poster listing six things that he is thankful for.

Just in case you cannot read them, they are; 1. Kennny Chesny; 2: The Farm aka my Grandparents Farm; 3. House; 4. Grayson; 5. Pets (Riley and his fish); 6. Mom and Dad.

Well - at least Grayson, Matt and I made the top 6! Love the innocence of a 4 year old!

We went GREEN!

We have been wanting to get the house painted for some time and we finally took the plunge and had it done and we LOVE it! We chose a soft sage green color and did it through out the house except for the bedrooms (we had already painted them). It is amazing what a fresh coat of paint can do - it just makes the house feel fresher and cleaner and makes our white trim and furniture pop. So glad we did it!! Here are some pictures of our new paint color - not all the stuff is back on the walls so don't pay any attention to the bare walls :)

I am my Mother's Child.....

I have been seeing on some of my friend's post that they have been getting really good deals using weekly sale ads and coupons. So, I decided to give it a try - and all I can say, is it is worth it! My Mom has been doing this for years, I remember as a child getting so irritated with her when she would go to the store with her coupons and sale ad- but I totally get it now! Why pay full price if you don't have too?

With my first week of bargain shopping I went to Walgreens (they have a great Sunday ad) with my flyer and coupons. For my first week of shopping I got, 3 32-load bottles of Purex laundry detergent (not my favorite brand, but for towels, sheets, etc, why not at 1.99/bottle); 3 boxes kleenex, 3 boxes margarine, 1 bottle Scrubbing Bubbles bathroom cleaner, 1 bag sugar, 1 bag flour, 1 bottle Karo syrup, 1 can baking soda. All for.......

$19.85!!!

With my coupons and their sale item coupons, I saved a total of $24.34! It was a great opportunity to stock up on some baking items for the upcoming Holidays! I am just so excited - I will be doing this every week! It is well worth the time and effort!

Trick or Treat!!

We had so much fun Trick or Treating this year! Lance really got into it and Grayson, well, he was along for the ride but still had a lot of fun! Lance dressed up as Kenny Chesny - his FAVORITE country music star and Grayson was dressed up as Bam Bam from the Flinstones, if you know Grayson, you know that this was very fitting for him! We started out at the Petree's house (it just wouldn't be the same without a stop at their house!) then went on to the Greenfields house for a little party and trick or treating through their neighborhood. Lance was at the head of the pack to go door to door, he wanted that candy! And Grayson brought up the rear, he just wasn't sure what to think about it!

We also carved pumpkins! We each had a pumpkin to carve and this was the first year (since Matt and I have been together) that he actually carved a pumpkin!! We had so much fun and lit our little jack-o-latern family up in the evenings. We made a lot of great memories! I just love this time of year with Fall and the Holiday's quickly approaching - I am looking forward to lots more fun!!

Here are a few pictures, enjoy!
