Look Who Lost Their First Tooth.....

Lance woke up Saturday morning and announced that he had a loose tooth!

While we were eating Nana's birthday lunch, he took a bite of his cheese burger and the tooth fell out - I think he was a little surprised when it fell out and didn't hurt.

Here is our big boy and his cute new smile :-)

Happy Birthday Nana!

Today we celebrated Nana's birthday! Tom organized a "surprise" lunch to honor this special lady on her day. We all pitched in and had a yummy lunch, complete with birthday cake made by Kyla!

It took Nana and all the Grandkids to blow out the candles ;-)

After we had lunch, we headed outside to take some pictures of the pretty fall flowers and leaves.

Trunk-or-Treat

Friday night, Lance's school hosted a Trunk-or-Treat event. This was our first experience with trunk-or-treating and we had a blast. It is a really neat idea and the kids had a great time.

I must say that our night started out a little rocky when our little giraffe was less than excited about getting his costume on - but once Lance showed him how the whole trick-or-treating (or trunk-or-treating in this case) worked, he was on board. Grayson has a bit of a sweet tooth and once he figured out that if put this "animal" costume (as he call it) on and goes up to people with his bag open and they will put candy in his bag, he was all about it!

Mommy with her little goblins .

(Disclaimer: we are not OSU fans, this outfit was bought for the the sole purpose of its color, Lance wanted a football uniform like his Daddy's football team)

Checking out his candy.

I thought this was a sweet picture of Lance and Daddy.

This picture cracks me up -

it looks like Grayson is just standing there saying Give.Me.Candy!!

Loading up once more.

Happy little giraffe!

Our little trunk-or-treaters

We had a great time trunk-or-treating and look forward to the event next year! The boys are looking forward to trick-or-treating with friends on Monday - more pics to come!

Happy Fall Ya'All!

A couple of weeks ago we invited some of our friends and family to go to Neosho to my grandparents farm for a hay-ride and weiny roast. The weather was perfect! We could not have asked for more beautiful weather to enjoy a day out side.

As the kids and families began to arrive, the kids rode around the farm on their powerwheel toys. They all had room to ride around and not get in each others way. Some of them threw the football around, it was just of those days that it was just nice to be outside.

We had a pumpkin for each child and foam stickers and paint to decorate the pumpkins with. There were some "boo-tiful" pumpkins - I am sad that I did not get a picture of the the finished products.

This was my best attempt at a group picture (we all know how much kids like group pictures), and I still don't think I got everyone in the picture. They were loading up on the trailer for the hayride out to the bond fire for the weiney roast.

I am sad that this is the only pictures I got from the evening. My camera was doing funny things and I was not able to get pictures.

We had such a fun time and hope to make this an annual event. Grayson is still talking about his hayride and wants to know if he can have one next week!

Disney on Ice

Last weekend, Matt and I took the boys to Tulsa to see Disney on Ice - Toy Story 3. The boys loved it! Especially Grayson, he sat still the whole time and did not take his eyes off the show. With Toy Story being one of their favorite shows, they were able to follow along with the story line which made it even better.

I love taking my kids to see these shows. My Mom and Grandma Sue took Blake and I when we were younger so see Disney on Ice and those are memories that we will always have. It is fun to see my kids get enjoyment out of the same things that I enjoyed when I was a kid and to make the same memories with them.

The Army guys were both of the boys favorite part of the show - they came in parachutes and landed on the ice. It was pretty cool!

We had a fun time, despite me being sick. I think we will make it an annual family event!

Tour of the Bentonville Fire Department

A couple weeks ago, we went on a tour of the Bentonville Fire Department with some of our friends. The kids had such a fun time! They got to see where the fire fighters sleep, eat, watch tv, cook and of course, they got to see the trucks! The fire fighters were so kind and let the kids climb and sit on the trucks - they were so patient with them. They also demonstrated to them how quickly they have to get all their gear on when they are called out on a fire.

They Have No Idea.....

How good they have it!

As we have been spending every Tuesday evening and Saturday morning at the soccer fields, my friend Jo Ann and I have had to get a little creative in ways to entertain the little brothers. They want to run on the field with the big boys, because they are just as big as they are, you know :)

They have tried playing trains on Sawyer's "doe-doe" aka blanket

They tried watching the game in their cool Lightening McQueen chairs - and yes, it is better that their chairs match or that is just a whole other issue! And by the way, the watching the game option, didn't last too long ;)

And this one is my favorite - they have the DVD player proped up in the stroller with their chairs in front complete with their snacks and drinks.

Love these sweet boys but they are a mess - a good mess though!
